I've Given In ....

... And swapped summer to winter wardrobe.  I normally leave it a bit later in the year, but this colder spell has changed my mind for me.  Oh well, summer was good this year, and I had the extention of another week with my trip to Turkey.  So once I get the washing in from the line, I can pack the final bits of summer away, and go back into warmer clothes ... roll on next Easter!

Wow, how can it be October ... 3/4 of the way through 2022

And it's a weekend.  I still haven't written up my holiday journal, so that means I have a fun task to do, remembering the trip and adding postcards (where I managed to get them), etc into the book.

But before I go off to do that -

1. What was the last item you returned or exchanged at a store?

I will admit I am not great at doing that - however a few months ago I got my Kindle exchanged (by Amazon) ... I think I told you at the time.

2. What’s an unlikely movie sequel you’d like to see?
Most of the films I see have a "true" ending, so hard to think of any of them having a sequel, so I shall have to have a think and get back to you!

Right that's me till Monday, although I will try to get some more photos up soon.

Enjoy your weekend x

While we were visiting Epasus we also went to The Basilica of St John that was on the outskirts. It was built in the 4th century around the grave of St John (the apostle who wrote both the Gospel, as well as the book of Revalation). His grave was ransacked some centuries later, but the location of where it was is still known -

Before the trip to Ephasus we had lunch in the nearby village of Şirince ... and, being me, had to buy some jewellery (after all, people wouldn't believe I hadn't brought home something new)

And, of course, while in Turkey, you have to get taken to a carpet shop in the hope you will buy!
