What A Hectic Week

debris4spike... But when I look back I can't think of any real reasons as to what has happened.
On Wednesday I had my annual resuscitation and bi-annual Manual Handling training. I will say, of all the training sessions I have done over the last 15 years at the hospital this trainer was probably the best. He managed to make us all laugh from time to time, but also to do the practical as needed (actually, although I was going to do it, he exempted me). So, all in all, it was an OK day!
Yesterday, before I went to work, I actually sat outside for a short time ... it was lovely to sit in the sunshine again.
But, I haven't a clue what I did over the rest of the week that seemed to fill in the time.
Yes, I did some housework, bu not as much as I should ... I did some icon-making, but not as much as I should ... and the week just disappeared.
So, let's get on with catching up with you all ... so, before I sign off here ...
17. It’s Kurt Russell’s birthday – a child actor who grew up. Have you seen any of the Disney films in which he acted (he played the college student Dexter Riley)?
I do like Overboard ... and yes, I do love Stargate ... the first of a franchise that I still watch and enjoy.
18. Which flowers or trees are blooming where you live now?
We have had Magnolias, daffodils, Camellias etc etc
19. If you had the space (and the time), would you like to keep chickens?
When I was 25 we moved to a house where we "inherited" 6 chickens. Luckily Mum had them when she was a kid, so we managed them, no worries.
20. Was learning a new language part of your education when you were at school? Can you still remember any of it?
When I was 5 and started school, I spoke only English. However that scholl expected you to take the 11+ in Welsh. So, for the term and a half that I was there I began to learn Welsh, although don't remember anything of it.
From the age of 9 to 16 I had French lessons, and still failed the O level! I can manage "hello & goodbye ... and thank you!"
